Sunday, May 10 – Week 1: The Vision
Theme: God’s calling, sacred space, legacy
Church family, today we begin something special across our district called the 40 Days of Vision.
For more than 30 years, God has used the Hocking Hills Retreat Center as a sacred place—where children, students, and families encounter Him in powerful ways. And now, we believe God is inviting us into the next step of that vision.
Over the next 40 days, we are working together to complete a new Dining Hall and Gathering Lodge that will serve ministry year‑round. This is about more than a building—it’s about creating space for the next generation to grow in faith and experience the presence of God.
As we begin this journey, I invite you to pray and ask how God might want you to be part of this vision.
Sunday, May 17 – Week 2: Spiritual Impact
Theme: Why camp changes lives
As we continue the 40 Days of Vision, this week we’re focusing on the impact that camp has on lives—especially young lives.
Time and again, we see how God uses places like Hocking Hills Retreat Center to shape faith in children and students. In fact, many people make lifelong decisions for Christ during these early years, often in environments like camp.
This campaign is about making room for more of those moments—more opportunities for kids and families to experience God in deep and lasting ways.
Thank you for continuing to pray with us and consider how God might lead you to invest in something that truly changes lives.
Sunday, May 24 – Week 3: The Lodge
Theme: What we are building
Today, we want to share more specifically about what we’re building together.
The new Dining Hall and Gathering Lodge at Hocking Hills Retreat Center is designed to be the heart of the campus—a place where people will gather for meals, worship, teaching, and fellowship.
It will allow the Retreat Center to serve ministry not just in the summer, but all year long, welcoming churches, families, and groups in every season.
As we continue through the 40 Days of Vision, we’re trusting God to provide what’s needed to complete this space so it can be used for His purposes for years to come.
Sunday, May 31 – Week 4: Stories
Theme: Lives transformed
This week in our 40 Days of Vision, we’re focusing on stories—real lives that have been transformed through camp ministry.
We continue to hear how God meets people in powerful ways at Hocking Hills—children discovering they are loved, students surrendering to Christ, and families finding renewal.
This campaign is about making room for more of those stories.
When we invest in this space, we’re investing in future moments where someone will encounter God in a way that changes everything.
Thank you for being part of that story.
Sunday, June 7 – Week 5: Future & Legacy
Theme: The next generation
As we move into the final stretch of the 40 Days of Vision, this week is about legacy.
Scripture reminds us of our calling to pass faith on to the next generation—to create opportunities for those who come after us to know the goodness and faithfulness of God.
What we’re building at Hocking Hills Retreat Center is not just for today, but for children, families, and leaders we may never even meet.
This is a lasting investment in the Kingdom of God.
Thank you for helping build something that will impact lives for generations to come.
Sunday, June 14 – Week 6: Final Push
Theme: Gratitude, prayer, participation
As we come to the final week of the 40 Days of Vision, I want to begin with a simple word—thank you.
We have seen God provide in incredible ways through the prayers and generosity of people across our district. And we believe He will continue to provide as we finish this journey together.
There is still an opportunity to be part of what God is doing—through prayer, through giving, and through sharing the vision.
Let’s finish strong, trusting God to complete what He has begun, and giving Him all the glory for what He will do through this place.
Sunday, June 21 – Giving Sunday
Theme: Commitment & Response
Church family, today marks a special moment in our 40 Days of Vision—today is our Giving Sunday.
Over these past weeks, we’ve been praying, reflecting, and hearing how God is using the Hocking Hills Retreat Center to change lives. And today, we have the opportunity to respond together.
We are working to raise the $500,000 to begin construction of the new Dining Hall and Gathering Lodge—a place that will serve ministry year‑round and impact generations to come.
If God has been prompting your heart, today is the day to take that step.
You can give right now by scanning the QR code on the screen, or by visiting
