We invite our district churches to help raise $500,000 needed to begin construction of the Dining Hall Lodge at Hocking Hills Retreat Center. Through our 40 Days of Hope campaign, churches can play a vital role in spreading the word and inspiring generosity.

 
Here’s how you can help:
  • Make announcements during Sunday services beginning May 10 and leading up to Giving Celebration Sunday on June 21.
  • Download and share the provided content on your personal and church social media pages each day starting May 11.
  • Follow, like, and share posts from our Facebook and Instagram accounts
  • Play the two different Giving Celebration Sunday videos on June 7 and June 14 during services to promote GVING SUNDAY on June 21.
  • Most importantly, lead by example—give, and share why God has led you to invest in this place where lives are changed.

Sunday, May 10 – Week 1: The Vision

Theme: God’s calling, sacred space, legacy

Church family, today we begin something special across our district called the 40 Days of Vision.

For more than 30 years, God has used the Hocking Hills Retreat Center as a sacred place—where children, students, and families encounter Him in powerful ways. And now, we believe God is inviting us into the next step of that vision.

Over the next 40 days, we are working together to complete a new Dining Hall and Gathering Lodge that will serve ministry year‑round. This is about more than a building—it’s about creating space for the next generation to grow in faith and experience the presence of God.

As we begin this journey, I invite you to pray and ask how God might want you to be part of this vision.

As we continue the 40 Days of Vision, this week we’re focusing on the impact that camp has on lives—especially young lives.
